I am Alain Koninckx, embalmer in Belgium. I worked 9 years in university as a prosector where I learned plastination and developed a plastination lab. Human anatomy is my main interest for medical school and thanatopraxy. Today I have my own embalming business and teach anatomy for embalmers. I’m specialized in post mortem facial reconstructive surgery and teach this subject. Actually, I have 20 years’ experience in funeral and anatomy business.
In parallel I am a freelance consultant for several plastination laboratories. My field of action are Spalterholz, corrosion cast, and silicone plastination. I’m bringing plastination technics in taxidermy business.
