| Plastination Experience | I have plastinated specimens since 2016 utilizing a combination of cold-temperature and room-temperature techniques. My work is primarily animal specimens for creation of teaching models, particularly hearts for medical curriculum, which can easily be dilated to show beautiful valves and internal structures. Knees that can be flexed and extended are fun to create for students to use in their laboratory sessions. Various respiratory specimens are created for in-class use, including airway casts. Additionally, I do custom plastination for institutions or commercial endeavors. |
