      The “4th International Workshop on Plastination & Anatomical Techniques” will be held at the Laboratory of Plastination & Anatomical Techniques, Faculty of Dentistry – CEMyQ, Universidad de La Frontera, in the city of Temuco, Chile, from the 9th to the 13th of October 2023.

      This course will consist of a total of 50 hours. In addition, official certification from Universidad de La Frontera, Accredited State University of Chile, and the International Society for Plastination (ISP) will be granted.

      The objective of this workshop is to develop the standard plastination techniques with silicone, cold and at room temperature, plastination of cuts, with epoxy and polyester, plastination of ultra-thin cuts, together with other anatomical fixation and conservation techniques, intravascular injection and neurotechnics associated with plastination, for the biosecure conservation of cadaveric material for the purposes of teaching and morphological research. In addition, acetone recycling, biosafety and installation and start-up of plastination laboratories and anatomical techniques will be discussed.
